Korneel Bernolet (b. 1989) made his international debut at the age of 19 with La Petite  Bande (Sigiswald Kuijken). From then onwards, he is regularly invited as a soloist or continuo  player by several prestigious ensembles (such as Scherzi Musicali, B’Rock, cantoLX, Octopus,  Mannheimer Hofkapelle) in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Germany, the  United Kingdom and Italy. Recently, he founded his own chamber music formation: Le  Quatuor Parisien. Year after year, he has been awarded the highest honorific distinctions as a harpsichord  student of Ewald Demeyere at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. Next to his eduction, he  regularly refines his playing through numerous masterclasses, of which in particular the  insights of Christophe Rousset are of great influence. As a trained music theorist, the  consequent application of historical performance praxis is of essential value.  Korneel is also active as a conductor, teacher, composer with international acclaim and music typesetter. Recent richtte hij zijn eigen kamermuziekformatie op: Le Quatuor  Parisien.  Aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Antwerpen behaalt hij tot dusver jaar na jaar de hoogste onderscheidingen als student  klavecimbel in de klas van zijn mentor Ewald Demeyere. Daarnaast vervolmaakt hij zich regelmatig in het buitenland bij tal van  eminente pedagogen en vertolkers, waarvan in het bijzonder de inzichten van Christophe Rousset een grote invloed uitoefenen op  zijn musiceren. Als geschoolde muziektheoreticus draagt hij een consequente toepassing van de historische uitvoeringspraxis hoog  in het vaandel.  Verder is Korneel actief als dirigent, leerkracht, componist met internationale bekroning en muziektypograaf.
